“Resilience is not just a trait observed in men and vulnerability is not just a trait observed in women — a good leader has to have both and exhibit these “masculine” and “feminine” traits in harmony. If you’re vulnerable, you better also be resilient and vice versa. One trait shouldn’t be valued over another. Embracing both is the balance I want to see in the world and the balance that creates authentic leaders.”
